Defense Edge Technology Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Defense / Edge Tech Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical strategy for edge deployment of speech AI models, defining architecture for on-device and air-gapped inference
• Optimize models for edge platforms, focusing on quantization, pruning, and runtime optimization
• Collaborate with hardware partners to ensure efficient model performance and support defense customer requirements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, embedded computing, or edge AI deployment
• Proficiency in C, C++, and/or Rust, with experience in performance-critical code
• Hands-on experience with model optimization for edge deployment
• Familiarity with edge inference runtimes and security-conscious development practices
• Strong understanding of hardware-software interaction and architectures
