Defense Financial Management Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an FM Consultant - Defense.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial management support to Department of Defense clients, including audit readiness and remediation
• Support the execution of financial statement audit remediation and sustainment strategies
• Assist in the development of governance communication and reporting related to audit infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance
• Bachelor's degree required
• Two years of experience in financial management, particularly with government clients
• Knowledge of DoD financial management policies and procedures
• Understanding of GAAP, GAGAS, and internal controls over financial reporting
