Defense Financial Management Senior Manager

Job Summary

Supporting the Department of Defense, the full-time salaried Defense Financial Management Senior Manager will manage financial audit statements, oversee audit readiness services, and ensure compliance with DoD financial management policies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oversight and reporting for financial statement audit remediation and sustainment strategies
• Support governance meeting content development and recurring financial reporting for audit infrastructure
• Enhance compliance with accounting and auditing standards within an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP)

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
• Ten (10) years of experience in financial management, specifically auditing financial statements of government agencies
• Knowledge of GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR, and DoD financial management policies and structures
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance
• Experience in areas such as General Equipment, Inventory, Real Property, IGT (AP/AR), or OM&S
