Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Delaware Licensed Associate Attorney will conduct legal research, draft litigation documents, and represent clients in Delaware corporate litigation matters, including shareholder derivative cases, in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and briefs related to Delaware corporate litigation
- Analyze complex corporate governance issues and fiduciary obligations, collaborating with partners on case strategy and trial preparation
- Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including depositions, hearings, and negotiations
Required qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- 4 to 9 years of experience in Delaware corporate litigation, specifically in breach of fiduciary duty cases
- Experience with derivative shareholder litigation and practice in Delaware courts
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills, with a focus on drafting dispositive motions
- Admission to the bar in at least one state; Delaware bar admission is highly preferred
