Job Summary
To support pet families in Wilmington, Delaware, a part-time Delaware Licensed Hospice Veterinarian will provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services, managing a self-scheduled workload without non-compete restrictions.
Key responsibilities
- Perform in-home hospice care and euthanasia for pets, ensuring compassionate support for families
- Work independently in a mobile environment, managing appointments and travel effectively
- Communicate professionally with team members and pet families, fostering a respectful and dignified atmosphere
Required qualifications
- DVM/VMD/BVMS degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client locations
- Weekend availability on a rotational basis
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Demonstrated compassion and respect in dealing with clients and their pets
