Demand Forecast Analyst

Job Summary

Focused on building accurate, data-driven demand forecasts, the full-time remote Demand Forecast Analyst will validate consumption trends, manage forecast accuracy, and collaborate cross-functionally to support a transparent Demand Review process.

Key responsibilities

• Validate retail consumption forecasts and manage demand modeling by incorporating distribution, promotion, and inventory dynamics
• Own forecast accuracy reporting, diagnosing root causes of MAPE performance, and driving continuous improvement in forecast processes
• Contribute to the Demand S&OP process by preparing reports, insights, and summaries for cross-functional review and approval

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, or business analytics within CPG, food & beverage, or retail
• Hands-on experience with demand planning or BI platforms such as Vividly, NetSuite, or Tableau
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency and experience working with large datasets
• Familiarity with statistical forecasting methodologies and exposure to S&OP processes
• Ability to challenge commercial assumptions with data while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships
