Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time contract basis, the Demand Planner (Contractor) will manage statistical and collaborative forecasts for assigned categories and channels, utilizing historical data and market intelligence to support Supply Planning, Sales, and Finance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain statistical baseline forecasts at the SKU, channel, and customer level using historical data
- Lead the Demand Review as part of the monthly S&OP cycle, ensuring a consensus forecast through collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance
- Analyze market trends and forecast accuracy, driving corrective actions with cross-functional teams as needed
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a related analytical role, preferably in food, beverage, or CPG sectors
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong statistical and analytical skills with experience in forecasting/demand planning software and advanced Excel
- Familiarity with syndicated data sources and DTC e-commerce analytics
- A proven track record of leading cross-functional S&OP or consensus forecasting processes
