Job Summary
To support the dementia care program, the part-time Remote Supervising Provider will manage clinical documentation, oversee care navigators and Nurse Practitioners, and ensure high-quality care for patients with dementia while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners, conducting chart reviews and virtual meetings
- Review and sign off on clinical documentation and provider attestations within required timelines
- Conduct remote patient evaluations and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards
Required Qualifications
- Dementia proficient provider with relevant patient panel experience or specialty in neurology, geriatrics, or related fields
- Graduate of an accredited medical or osteopathic school
- Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care as an MD or DO
- Current MD or DO license in specified states, with Medicare billing privileges
- Proficiency with electronic health records and telehealth tools
