Demographic Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting front-end billing operations, the full-time remote Demographic Specialist will review and analyze claims for accuracy, facilitate timely claim submission and payment resolution, and enhance customer satisfaction through effective issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze claims prior to submission to maximize clean claim rates
• Support timely claim submission, payment resolution, and account reconciliation activities
• Contribute to financial stability through effective demographic and claims management

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred with 2+ years of related healthcare, billing, or revenue cycle experience
• Intermediate computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with Imagine billing software and Availity clearinghouse highly preferred
• Strong written communication skills for explaining complex information clearly
• Analytical skills to interpret data and support resolution efforts
