Denial Management Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Denials Management Specialist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve outstanding denials and complete necessary follow-ups
• Identify denial trends and educate to prevent future avoidable denials
• Initiate and manage insurance appeals in a timely manner

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• 4 years of experience in medical billing with exposure to denials and appeals
• Knowledge of ICD9 and CPT-4 coding
• Familiarity with insurance explanation of benefits and claims processing
• Solid skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
