Denial Management Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Denial Management Specialist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve outstanding denials and complete necessary follow-up in a timely manner
• Identify denial trends and provide education to prevent future avoidable denials
• Initiate and manage insurance appeals promptly

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 4 years of experience in medical billing with exposure to denials and appeals
• Knowledge of ICD9 and CPT-4 coding
• Familiarity with insurance explanation of benefits (EOB) and claims processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
