Denials and Appeals Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Denials Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Process correspondence and follow up on denied claims and appeals
• Research denials and ensure maximum collection efforts are made
• Maintain compliance with billing regulations and report on productivity

Required Qualifications

• Approximately two+ years of experience with insurance denial processes
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
• Knowledge of health insurance correspondence and denial processing
• Understanding of physician billing guidelines for various payers
• Ability to multi-task and work independently without direct supervision
