Job Summary

A company is looking for a Denials Follow Up Representative to manage and resolve denials in the revenue cycle process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Differentiates between clinical and technical denials through analysis of EOBs and denial letters
  • Contacts payers to negotiate resolutions on technical denials and manages the appeals process
  • Evaluates appeal outcomes and manages assigned accounts through timely follow-up and record keeping
Required Qualifications
  • Four-year degree preferred or equivalent experience in hospital-related billing/follow-up
  • Knowledge of and experience with managed care contracts
  • Experience in customer support or client issue resolution management
  • Strong analytical acumen and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
