Job Summary
A company is looking for a Denials Follow Up Representative to manage and resolve denials in the revenue cycle process.
Key Responsibilities
- Differentiates between clinical and technical denials through analysis of EOBs and denial letters
- Contacts payers to negotiate resolutions on technical denials and manages the appeals process
- Evaluates appeal outcomes and manages assigned accounts through timely follow-up and record keeping
Required Qualifications
- Four-year degree preferred or equivalent experience in hospital-related billing/follow-up
- Knowledge of and experience with managed care contracts
- Experience in customer support or client issue resolution management
- Strong analytical acumen and multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
