Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coordinator, Denials Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Differentiates between clinical and technical denials through EOBs, denial letters, and data mining
- Contacts payers to negotiate resolution on technical denials and manages appeals using necessary documentation
- Evaluates appeal outcomes for next steps and manages assigned workload through timely follow-up and accurate record-keeping
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a four-year degree is preferred
- 2 years of experience in hospital-related billing or follow-up field
- Knowledge of or experience working with managed care contracts
- Experience in customer support or client issue resolution management
- Proficiency with MS Office
