Denials Management Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Denial Management Specialist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve outstanding denials and manage follow-up in a timely manner
• Identify denial trends and educate on prevention strategies
• Initiate and manage insurance appeals and outstanding accounts receivable related to denials

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 4 years of experience in medical billing with exposure to denials and appeals
• Knowledge of ICD9 and CPT-4 coding
• Familiarity with insurance explanation of benefits and claims processing requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
