Denials Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Denials Representative to manage payment denials and appeals in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and review payment denials and process claims within designated time frames
• Utilize research tools to expedite resolution of denied claims and assemble documentation for appeals
• Contact carriers regarding denied claims and inform management of any new procedures affecting claims processing

Required Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years of experience in physician medical billing, focusing on research and claim denials
• Thorough knowledge of physician billing policies and healthcare reimbursement guidelines
• Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Excel
• High school diploma or equivalent
• General knowledge of ICD and CPT coding
