Denials Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Denials Representative to review and manage carrier denials within their assigned Billing Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Review ETM tasklist assignments and rebill claims as necessary
• Determine appropriate actions for denials based on carrier requirements and forward documentation as needed
• Participate in department meetings and perform duties as directed by senior staff

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One year of medical billing experience preferred
• Knowledge of physician billing policies and procedures
• Computer literate with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
