Job Summary

A company is looking for a Dental/Vision Financial Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Compute rates for renewing and prospective group Dental and Vision accounts
• Prepare financial reports and analyses for moderate to complex groups
• Negotiate with Sales and Account Management on new and existing business offers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience
• Five or more years of experience underwriting Dental and Vision group benefits
• Strong experience with financial and risk analysis for rated groups
• Comprehensive understanding of risk pool management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
