Job Summary
Providing customer service to members of various benefit plans, the full-time Dental Customer Service Representative will analyze caller needs and deliver timely, accurate responses regarding benefits, eligibility, claims, and premiums while working from home.
Key responsibilities
- Answer a high volume of inbound calls related to dental claims, benefits, and eligibility while providing solutions and confirming information
- Document calls clearly and concisely, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
- Stay updated on benefit information and processing procedures to effectively resolve complaints and inquiries
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service experience or related experience in a medical/dental office
- Practical knowledge of medical or dental terminology preferred
- Ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm and achieve 10-key proficiency of 105 kspm net
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a reliable high-speed internet connection
