Job Summary

A company is looking for an Appeals Professional III (Dental Hygienist).

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews dental records and writes clear, concise reconsideration decisions
• Makes independent decisions based on medical or dental evidence in accordance with regulations and policies
• Conducts research to support decisions using federal regulations and medical literature

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from a Dental Hygiene program accredited by CODA
• Passed the National Board of Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHA)
• Three years of experience as a dental hygienist
• Direct patient care experience within the last three years
