Dental Medicaid Verification Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Dental Medicaid Verification Specialist will obtain and verify patient insurance information, ensuring accurate claims processing while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and verify patient insurance information with insurance companies
• Accurately enter patient benefit information and maintain records of appointments
• Communicate changes in patients' insurance to staff and follow up on eligibility until surgery is performed

Required qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medicaid eligibility verification experience
• Minimum 2 years of insurance verification experience
• Experience with Texas, Arizona, or Utah Medicaid/MCO verification
• 2 years of dental experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to utilize spreadsheets
