Dental Underwriter

Job Summary

Independently underwriting insurance cases, the full-time Sr. Group Underwriter - Dental will evaluate insurance risks, administer underwriting cases, and coordinate the issuance of plans and policies, with options for hybrid or remote work based on proximity to an office location.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess insurance risk by analyzing plan design, demographics, claims experience, and relevant regulations
• Administer underwriting cases to support revenue, persistency, and profitability targets
• Compile and analyze regular reports on underwriting activities and provide training to entry-level team members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• 1-3 years of related experience required
• 1-3 years of dental/vision underwriting experience preferred
• Dental network analysis skills preferred
