Job Summary
To provide strategic, financial, operational, research, and human resources leadership, the full-time Department Administrator for Cancer Systems Imaging in Texas will manage departmental budgets, oversee faculty affairs, and drive operational excellence while collaborating with leadership and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Direct recruitment and human resource management activities for faculty and staff
- Oversee administrative management of grants and contracts, ensuring compliance with institutional requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
- Seven years of progressive healthcare or research management experience, including three years in a management role
- Experience in an academic research environment with grant management and faculty affairs
- Strong leadership and financial planning skills
- Completion of relevant leadership programs may substitute for supervisory experience
