Department Head of Leadership Programs

Job Summary

Providing strategic and operational leadership for the academic department, the full-time Department Head of Leadership Programs will guide faculty, oversee program development, and ensure faculty success while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaboratively create a vision and shared aims for the department while mentoring and supporting faculty in achieving their goals
• Oversee faculty scheduling, contracts, and performance evaluations, ensuring alignment with institutional goals for student success
• Develop, implement, and monitor curriculum and instructional improvements to enhance student learning outcomes

Required qualifications:

• Earned doctorate degree in a discipline aligned with the academic program
• Experience in academic leadership, including faculty development and curriculum oversight
• Demonstrated ability to lead programmatic initiatives and foster continuous improvement
• Collaborative and student-centered approach to leadership and instructional support
• Experience contributing to or leading strategic planning in academic programs
