Department of Treasury Licensed Security Technician
Job Summary
Seeking a Department of Treasury Licensed Security Technician, the full-time remote position will install, maintain, and repair integrated electronic security systems, requiring local presence in the Memphis, TN area.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, procure, install, and maintain Video Surveillance Systems (VSS), Access Control Systems (ACS), and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
- Provide technical assistance and act as the technical expert to clients and team members
- Document work orders and maintain inventory of electronic security equipment
Required qualifications:
- Approximately 3+ years of experience in government or commercial installations
- Demonstrated experience with VSS, ACS, IDS, and basic circuitry
- Formal training in electronics or certifications from industry vendors
- Ability to obtain a Department of Treasury clearance
- GED required; valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
