Department of Treasury Licensed Technician

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Department of Treasury Licensed Technician, the full-time remote Security Electronics Technician III will install, maintain, and repair integrated electronic security systems, including Video Surveillance Systems (VSS), Access Control Systems (ACS), and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), while collaborating with service and engineering teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, procure, install, and perform daily maintenance and upgrades on electronic security systems
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to team members and clients, ensuring effective problem-solving
• Document and close work orders with detailed descriptions of completed tasks and manage inventory of security equipment

Required qualifications

• Approximately 3+ years of experience in government or commercial installations
• Demonstrated training in electronics, circuitry, and experience with VSS, ACS, and IDS systems
• Formal training or certification as a low voltage electrician is preferred
• Proficiency in using test equipment, such as digital multimeters and video test monitors
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a Department of Treasury clearance
