Job Summary

A company is looking for a Budgeting Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Department of War (DoW) PPBE subject matter expert, advising on budget formulation, programming, justification, and execution processes across defense programs
• Support implementation of financial management (FM) and PPBE solutions, translating DoW requirements into functional capabilities
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance FM and Program capabilities supporting defense budgeting and resource management needs

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Clearance
• Master's degree or greater in business or financial systems-related field
• 5+ years of DoW Financial Management and Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Execution (PPBE) experience
• 5+ years of DoW Financial Management systems experience
• Remote with preference given to candidates in the DMV area
