Deputy Chief Information Security Officer

Job Summary

Partnering closely with the CISO, the full-time remote Deputy Chief Information Security Officer will scale the security program, focusing on application security, compliance initiatives, and incident response while managing high-risk areas across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CISO on security strategy, roadmap, and execution
• Identify and prioritize high-risk security areas and support compliance initiatives
• Enhance security across cloud infrastructure, SaaS tools, and corporate IT systems

Required qualifications

• 10-15+ years of cybersecurity experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role
• Broad security background across multiple domains, with strong application security experience
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001
• Experience in a startup or resource-constrained environment
• Customer-facing communication skills for executive-level discussions
