Deputy Director of Contracts

Job Summary

To ensure compliance and governance across the contract lifecycle, the full-time remote Deputy Director of Contracts will oversee contract governance frameworks, manage FAR/DFARS compliance, and support SBA 8(a) and Joint Venture structures while leading a Contracts team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain a formal contracts governance framework, ensuring compliance across all contract actions
• Act as the primary authority on FAR/DFARS, providing guidance and oversight for contract type selection and pricing structures
• Lead governance for SBA 8(a) contracts and Joint Ventures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and performance obligations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Legal Studies, Finance, or related field (JD or Master's preferred)
• 7+ years of federal government contracting experience with deep FAR application
• Demonstrated experience supporting SBA 8(a) contracts and compliance activities
• Direct experience with Joint Ventures and SBA Mentor-Prot g Program (MPP) structures
• Proven experience establishing contract governance frameworks and internal controls
