Deputy Director of MEAL

Job Summary

Passionate about social justice, the full-time Deputy Director of MEAL will manage the development and implementation of a MEAL strategy, ensuring effective data use for learning and impact while collaborating with various departments and leading a team of MEAL staff in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a responsive MEAL strategy that aligns with social justice values
• Provide guidance and review for MEAL products to ensure clarity and technical soundness for diverse audiences
• Manage collaboration with other departments to design MEAL frameworks and implement community-based accountability practices

Required qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) years of monitoring, evaluation, accountability & learning experience
• At least five (5) years of directly managing staff
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in political science, sociology, measurement & evaluation, social work, education, public policy, or related fields
