Deputy Editor in Advanced Computing

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Deputy Editor - Advanced Computing.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategically develop one or more journals in collaboration with the Editor-in-Chief
• Establish and maintain a strong network of authors, peer reviewers, and board members
• Manage the editorial evaluation, peer review, and decision-making for submitted manuscripts

Required Qualifications

• A PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or Information Science, or a related field
• 2+ years of post-PhD work experience is beneficial but not essential
• Subject matter expertise in theoretical computer science, algorithms, AI, or related fields
• Strong understanding of scientific publishing and the peer-review process
• A keen interest in science communication and innovations in publishing
