Job Summary

A company is looking for a Deputy Editor.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission high-quality papers and build collaborative relationships with leading researchers
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives to grow the Advanced Portfolio within catalysis globally
• Participate in the editorial evaluation, peer review, and decision-making for submitted manuscripts

Required Qualifications

• PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science with a focus on catalysis; post-doctoral experience preferred
• Strong understanding of recent trends and developments in the field of catalysis
• Experience in scientific publishing, including commissioning and the peer-review process
• Ability to work collaboratively and influence others
• Interest in science communication and advocacy for innovations in publishing
