Deputy General Counsel

Job Summary

Serving as a strategic legal leader, the full-time Deputy General Counsel will manage complex legal issues, support high-impact business initiatives, and lead a collaborative legal team focused on corporate governance, commercial transactions, and compliance, while working remotely from specified states.

Key responsibilities

• Set the strategy for the Legal Department and manage day-to-day operations
• Advise senior leaders on legal strategy, governance, and risk management
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI for improving legal workflows and efficiency

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant legal experience, including 5+ years in-house
• Deep experience in corporate governance, commercial transactions, and legal advisory roles
• Experience with AI tools in legal workflows is preferred
• Strong background in class action litigation and consumer protection issues
• Experience with international operations and regulatory compliance is a plus
