Job Summary
As a full-time remote Deputy General Counsel and Chief Regulatory Counsel, the successful candidate will serve as a senior legal advisor, focusing on government contracts, emerging technologies, and regulatory matters to support business growth and governance initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on government contracting, technology, regulatory, and commercial matters while developing practical legal guidance for emerging technologies
- Build and implement processes for negotiating and complying with government contracts, while managing legal and business risks
- Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to provide business-oriented legal advice and lead legal talent development
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law
- Minimum of ten years of experience in a large law firm or corporate in-house legal department, focusing on government contracting and regulatory matters
- Strong understanding of legal issues related to AI, data governance, and cybersecurity
- Experience with U.S. government contracts, including negotiation and compliance
- Ability to influence stakeholders and advise senior leaders in complex situations
