Job Summary

A company is looking for a Deputy General Counsel - Litigation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the litigation and disputes portfolio, including civil litigation, arbitration, and regulatory enforcement
  • Set litigation strategy based on facts, risk tolerance, and business context
  • Advise senior leadership and the Board during high-stakes situations and oversee subpoena responses
Required Qualifications
  • 12+ years of legal experience with significant litigation or enforcement experience
  • Experience in-house at a technology company and a strong law firm litigation background
  • Knowledge of fintech, financial services, or government investigations/enforcement
  • Strong legal-tech instincts and ability to evaluate and deploy tools responsibly
  • Comfortable making decisions and providing direct advice in ambiguous situations
