Deputy Group Lead

Job Summary

To support the Mission Applications Group's leadership, the full-time Deputy Group Lead will manage operations, shape strategy, and ensure excellence across a complex portfolio while working remotely in a flexible hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead business development efforts and cultivate customer relationships to enhance proposal and marketing activities
• Oversee financial management of contracts and ensure accurate billing across the portfolio
• Recruit, hire, develop, and mentor team members while supporting program execution to deliver high-quality products

Required qualifications:

• Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP program access
• Minimum of 10 years of experience within the Department of Defense (DoD), preferably in Joint mission planning and execution domains
• Deep familiarity with DoD missions and concepts of operations (CONOPs)
• Proven experience in managing complex R&D and systems development/integration projects in Defense contexts
• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and collaborators
