Deputy IT Project Manager

Job Summary

Supporting a new federal mission, the full-time Deputy IT Project Manager will work closely with the Project Manager to develop project management and SAFe work products while engaging directly with Government stakeholders in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to create and maintain project management and SAFe work products, including status reports and delivery metrics
• Prepare and deliver briefings to Government clients, ensuring effective communication of project progress
• Track deliverables, action items, risks, and schedules across a cross-functional program to maintain organization and transparency

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of project or program management experience
• SAFe implementation experience and knowledge of the framework
• Experience in a cross-functional environment overseeing architecture and engineering work
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination
• Comfortable briefing Government clients and leading discussions with team members and senior leadership
