Job Summary
Deputy Managing Director, a full-time remote position responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership, overseeing advocacy initiatives, and managing the Social Impact Reporting Initiative (SIRI) within a nonprofit organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Managing Director in strategic and operational leadership, ensuring effective programme oversight and performance monitoring
- Lead the Social Impact Reporting Initiative (SIRI), managing grants administration, programme delivery, and compliance processes
- Oversee advocacy campaigns and community engagement initiatives, aligning them with organizational priorities and global gender equality objectives
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in senior programmatic, advocacy, or organizational leadership roles within an international NGO or media development context
- Demonstrated experience in grants management, including design, selection, and compliance
- Proven track record in advocacy campaign management and stakeholder engagement
- Experience with digital communications platforms and content management systems
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in French and Arabic preferred
