Deputy Program Manager

Job Summary

Supporting overall project management for a contracted NOAA program, the full-time Deputy Program Manager will ensure organizational compliance, effective execution across task orders, and coordination among technical teams, subcontractors, and government stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project management across IDIQ and task order levels, ensuring contract requirements and deliverables are met
• Manage PMO operating cadence, including meetings and reviews for task orders and subcontractors
• Maintain the Integrated Master Schedule, tracking milestones, dependencies, and deliverables

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management, program management, or related roles
• Experience managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders and reporting requirements
• Knowledge of NOAA's NWP modeling suites
• Experience supporting government contracts and managing subcontractor coordination
• Strong project management discipline, including schedule and risk management
