Derivatives Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Derivatives Accountant to support derivatives accounting and financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the monthly close for derivatives under US GAAP and statutory accounting
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and accounting schedules related to derivative activity
• Perform account reconciliations and support GAAP and statutory reporting schedules

Required Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in accounting/finance roles
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Interest in building expertise in derivatives accounting
• Comfort with large datasets; automation skills are a plus
• Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment
