DERMS Solutions Specialist
Job Summary
To support utility clients in managing distributed energy resources, the full-time remote DERMS Solutions Specialist will provide technical expertise in planning, requirements management, design, and implementation of GE GridOS DERMS solutions, while collaborating with technical teams and engaging with clients to ensure their business needs are met.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with utility clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored DERMS solutions
- Lead requirements management and collaborate on solution architecture, ensuring alignment with client specifications
- Deploy GE GridOS DERMS solutions and automate data processing systems to support project use cases
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with a focus on power systems
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in the electricity industry
- Strong analysis skills, including requirements elicitation and management
- Experience in software development, particularly with Java and Python
- Familiarity with emerging energy industry trends related to DER management and distribution planning
