Design Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design Aids & Automation Engineering Professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test structure layouts using design automation and industry-standard EDA tools
• Create manual layout cells and develop parameterized cells for layout automation
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve layout and automation issues

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in semiconductor physical layout and design automation
• Experience with Cadence Virtuoso layout design tool (3+ years) and Cadence SKILL programming (2+ years)
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
• Solid understanding of physical layout concepts and semiconductor manufacturing processes
• Prior experience developing test structures or similar non-functional layout designs is preferred
