Design Drafter

Job Summary

Supporting transformative transportation projects nationwide, the full-time remote Design Drafter will utilize Microstation to prepare contract drawings, ensure compliance with codes, and assist in enhancing community mobility and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare contract drawings using Microstation based on engineering and design information
• Ensure compliance with codes and company policies by utilizing technical manuals and directives
• Compile data and perform calculations necessary for the preparation of drawings

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 5+ years of relevant experience in civil drafting and design
• Solid working knowledge of Microstation InRoads and/or Open Roads
• Desirable experience with Projectwise and project delivery
• Familiarity with DOT drafting standards in relevant states is a plus
• Working knowledge of additional software used for design assignments
