Design Engineer 2
Job Summary
Collaborating closely with clients and the Design Engineering team, the full-time salaried Design Engineer 2 will support the design project life cycle for electronic security systems, focusing on system requirements, specifications, and documentation while working in a virtual environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to complex design engagements by developing specifications, designs, budgets, and timelines
- Conceptualize system designs and provide guidance on security systems and installation coordination
- Oversee the development of the Bill of Materials (BOM) and conduct review calls with internal and external teams
Required qualifications:
- Associates Degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years' experience in system design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and MS Office 365
- Exceptional time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines
- Ability to analyze complex issues and communicate concise messages
