Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design Engineer to manage the core experience of how marketers interact with their platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the core product experience, focusing on interaction design, performance, and stability
• Design and build responsive interfaces with expert-level CSS, balancing complex, real-time interactions
• Collaborate with the CEO to translate product ideas into shipped features and evolve the design system

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a design engineer or front-end engineer with a strong portfolio of production-quality work
• Deep proficiency in modern web technologies including TypeScript, React, and CSS frameworks
• Ability to transform ambiguous concepts into clear interaction models and polished user experiences
• Strong understanding of front-end state management and how to handle complexity
• Comfortable using design and coding tools like Figma and Cursor/Claude Code for exploration
