Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design Engineer - LATAM (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the integrity of the design system across Figma and code, ensuring alignment with production
• Ensure high UI quality by focusing on transitions, micro-interactions, and accessibility in the product
• Develop tooling and processes to enhance collaboration and efficiency between design and engineering teams

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in building production-ready frontend code in complex applications
• Expertise in TypeScript, React, and modern CSS, with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical depth and design sensibility
• Experience in building and maintaining design systems in production
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and workflows
• A mindset focused on systems, quality, and process improvement, with a collaborative approach to design and engineering
