Design Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on designing advanced Data Center solutions, the remote W2 contract Design Engineer will leverage 5 to 7 years of experience with Cisco Nexus platforms and BGP expertise to develop high-quality network designs while collaborating with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design of Data Center infrastructure solutions primarily using Cisco Nexus platforms for complex enterprise environments
• Develop high-level and detailed network designs incorporating Cisco, Arista, and Arista CDC technologies to meet client requirements
• Create design solutions utilizing Python and Ansible to enhance automation and operational efficiency

Required qualifications:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in a Design Engineer role focused on complex Data Center infrastructure
• Cisco CCIE Data Center certification (or equivalent experience) with expert-level knowledge of data center architectures
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus platforms and broader Cisco technologies in enterprise Data Center environments
• Strong experience with Arista and Arista CDC technologies for multi-vendor Data Center network solutions
• Proficiency in Python for network-related tasks, with Ansible experience considered a plus
