Design Engineer for Dynamic Studies

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design Engineer - Dynamic Studies and Modeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and test PSSE, PSLF, TSAT, and PSCAD models for renewable plants
• Support interconnection applications and conduct preliminary system studies
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and assist in model validation for NERC compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of working experience, with at least 1 year in power systems
• Experience with PSS E and PSCAD for steady-state and dynamic analysis
• Prior experience with transmission system operators is preferred
• Experience with programming in Python is preferred
