Design Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design Engineer II - Optical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage design planning, record creation, and order fulfillment for products, focusing on growth products
• Collaborate with Service Activation and Field Technicians to address issues during pre-build and customer turn-up activities
• Review orders for technical correctness and maintain customer commitments and deadlines in the database

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum of three years of telecommunications and/or data networking experience
• Minimum of two years of design engineering experience preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of data networking and telecommunications, including bandwidth and services
• Experience with network hardware and software tools, including Microsoft Office and project management software
