Design Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design Engineer II - Optical.

Key Responsibilities

• Design planning, record creation, and order fulfillment of products with a focus on growth products
• Collaborate with Service Activation and Field Technicians to resolve issues during pre-build and customer turn-up activities
• Review orders for technical correctness and maintain customer commitments and deadlines in the database

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum of three years in telecommunications and/or data networking; 2+ years in design engineering preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of data networking and telecommunications, including bandwidth and services
• Working knowledge of routers and data hardware
• Experience with Microsoft Office and project management software
